Parking Options:

Parking is available at the McAllen Convention Center, but it can fill up quickly during peak hours. We recommend arriving early or using rideshare to avoid congestion. Carpooling is also encouraged.

POLICIES

  • Firearms, knives/blades, outside food or drinks, fireworks, vapes, chains, spiked accessories, confetti, glitter, or any hate-related/offensive symbols are not permitted.

  • Bags and backpacks are allowed but will be checked at entry. To speed up your experience, pack light and keep all items easily accessible.

  • No real or functional weapons. Foam, rubber, and plastic props are allowed. Wooden props will be reviewed. No sharp tips or metal blades. Replica weapons must remain peace-bonded or boxed.

  • Costumes must remain PG and family-friendly. No nudity, hate imagery, or overly obstructive builds. Large costumes or armor may require a handler. Undergarments must be worn with form-fitting outfits.

  • Always ask for consent before taking photos or videos of attendees. Avoid blocking walkways. No professional lighting or rig setups without prior approval. Celebrity guests may have restrictions—check posted signage.

  • Only ADA-recognized service animals are allowed inside the venue. Emotional support animals, comfort pets, or cosplay animals are not permitted.

  • STXCC maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, bullying, or discrimination. “Cosplay is not consent.” If you feel unsafe or witness misconduct, notify staff or security immediately. Violators will be removed.

  • South Texas Comic Con (STXCC) has a no-refund policy. If you’re unable to attend the event, you’re welcome to transfer, sell, or give your ticket to another fan.

    Please note that our guest lineup is subject to change. Tickets will not be refunded due to guest cancellations or schedule changes.

    If you plan to attend specifically for one or a few guests, we recommend purchasing your tickets at the door to ensure the best experience and the most up-to-date guest information.

  • All officially announced guests for South Texas Comic Con (STXCC) have committed to appear at the event. However, guests reserve the right to cancel their appearance if unforeseen circumstances arise, such as work commitments or health-related reasons.

  • Autographs and selfies at South Texas Comic Con (STXCC) can be purchased on-site only.

    To meet a special guest, visit their booth in the Autograph Area, where you can purchase an autograph or selfie directly. Event staff will be available throughout the area to assist, guide, and answer any questions you may have.

    Please note: Autographs and selfies are not included with your admission ticket and must be purchased separately.
